Rotary Club Roopnagar Copilots organised a Mental wellness workshop for School teachers at GMN Sr Sec School, Ropar on 28 march 2026 The event saw participation from around 50 teachers from various schools, including DAV Public School, Raghunath Sahay Smart School, St. Farid World School, and the host school. President Partner Vandana Sharma welcomed the teachers, highlighting the importance of teacher well-being for quality education. She noted that teachers face increased stress due to factors like parental expectations, online teaching, and the pressure to be constantly available and tech-savvy, allrounder , extremely patient leading to burnout. The resource person, Associate Professor Dr. Mamta Arora, began the session by assessing the teachers mental health through a screening test, sharing insights and encouraging self-reflection.
