On April 10, Rotary Club Roopnagar Copilots organized a meaningful outreach program, distributing 50 digital thermometers to underprivileged people residing in South Indian Street, near Gaushala. The aim was to empower these individuals with essential healthcare tools and knowledge.
A team of three senior students from Govt Nursing College, Rupnagar, took the lead in explaining and demonstrating the use of digital thermometers. Using engaging visual charts, they educated the community about the symptoms of malaria, dengue, and viral fever, highlighting the importance of early detection and prevention.
The students also shared valuable tips on how to keep mosquito populations at bay and prevent bites, emphasizing the role of community participation in disease prevention.
