On August 1, 2025, the Rotary Club of Roopnagar took a significant step toward environmental sustainability by installing an e-waste disposal box at the Regional Vocational Training Center (RVTC). This initiative was launched as part of the club’s continuing efforts to promote responsible waste management and environmental awareness within the local community. With the increasing use of electronic devices, the problem of e-waste has become a pressing concern, and Rotary Club Roopnagar aims to offer a simple yet impactful solution by providing a dedicated collection point for old and unused electronic items. The box encourages students, staff, and community members to discard their obsolete or broken electronics responsibly, instead of allowing them to end up in landfills where harmful components can pollute the environment.
