"The Rotary Club Rupnagars Interact Club of Parkash Memorial Deaf and Handicapped Welfare Society, Rupnagar, celebrated National Sports Day on August 29, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The day began with a tribute to the legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand, whose birthday is commemorated as National Sports Day in India. The students then participated in various sports events, including races, spoon and marble races, hurdles, three-legged races, and chess. The events were conducted with great zeal and enthusiasm. All participants received certificates, and the best athlete was felicitated with a trophy and a track suit by Rtn Gagan Saini of Rotary Club Rupnagar. The program was meticulously planned and executed by Madam Meenu, the Interact Club coordinator. Kudos to the students and organizers for making the event a success!"
