Smiles on Faces, Lohri in Little Hands
The Rotary Club Roopnagar Co-Pilots celebrated the festival of Lohri with underprivileged and marginalized children on January 12, 2026, at South Indian Street near the Gaushala. The celebration was marked by simplicity, warmth, and a strong spirit of service.
As part of the festivities, club members distributed 50 packets containing peanuts, gajak, rewri, and popcorn among the children. The joy of the occasion was further enhanced when the children enthusiastically sang the traditional folk song ?Sundar Mundriye,? filling the surroundings with happiness and festive cheer.
President Partner Vandana Sharma, Rtn Neenu Satyal, Rtn Kiran Walia, along with Co-Pilots members Sangeeta Sood and Parminder Kaur, were specially present during the service activity.
